Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

We keep this simple. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or baby’s details to use the site.

What stays on your device

Your saved favourites, the names you type into the parents’ name tool, baby care checklists, the feed tracker, your theme choice and the “pause animations” choice are stored in your browser (local storage) on your own device. We do not receive them. Clearing your browser data removes them. Shared shortlists put the names in the link after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to show and measure ads, to prevent fraud, and, where you allow it, to show personalised ads. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at youronlinechoices.com (Europe) or optout.aboutads.info (USA).

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for your choice about cookies and personalised ads through a consent message provided by Google, and you can change your choice later.

Other third parties

Server logs

Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Children

The site is meant for parents and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we hold almost no personal data about you, there is usually little for us to delete or export. Even so, depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data: to ask what is held, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or withdraw consent for processing. These come from laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. California residents can also opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for advertising through Google’s ad settings above. To make a request, contact us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
